    Description

    Mid to late 1800's percussion cap lock assembly. No manufacture markings, has decorative engraving. Resembles a British Pattern-1853 common in the American Civil War. Original 1800's manufacture, obviously not modern made. Complete and fully functional, has 2-position tumbler, half cock and full cock. Strong hammer spring. Cleaned and oiled with original patina. Makes for an interesting relic. Imagine the history, like they say, if it could only talk.
